Welcome to Lāna`i Community Health Center

The Lāna'i Community Health Center’s mission is to take care of the community of Lāna`i by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health and selected specialty services) to the community; providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lāna`i by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener;
and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna`i.

Dawn McClure – MA

Dawn

Dawn McClure is a Pre-doctoral clinical psychology intern with LCHC and I Ola Lāhui Rural Behavioral Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in pre-medical studies and health psychology at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. She completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is completing her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Hawai’i School of Professional Psychology.

In addition, she has completed trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and has experience with biofeedback for managing chronic illnesses. She has experience working in integrated clinical settings that have given her experience with psychopharmacology. Her clinical interests include health psychology and working with rural and diverse populations. She brings experience in treatment of mood disorders, trauma, and other pervasive mental illnesses.
