Welcome to Lāna`i Community Health Center

The Lāna'i Community Health Center’s mission is to take care of the community of Lāna`i by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health and selected specialty services) to the community; providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lāna`i by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener;
and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna`i.

Giyana Agliam

Giyana works as a Medical Assistant. She graduated from Lana’i High and Elementary School with STEM and math honors, while also attending Maui Community College. After completing her schooling, Giyana worked at Rainbow Pharmacy for three years and branched out to become a medical assistant here at LCHC. She is a board member for the Lāna‘i Cancer Foundation. She is very passionate about women empowerment, and is a hunter and fisher here on the island of Lāna‘i, and can provide food for her family. She makes her own jewelry and sews hand-made pillows. She chose Lāna‘i to work because she loves being able to provide for her community and give them the care they need.
