Kaysha Sarme

Kaysha, a dedicated Dental Assistant and alumna of Maui Community College, is a passionate advocate for oral health education. With a deep understanding of its importance to overall medical health, she is committed to imparting this knowledge to her family, friends, and the community, emphasizing the significance of maintaining good oral hygiene for long-term well-being.

In her role, Kaysha combines her professional expertise with a nurturing approach, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and education about oral health practices. Her dedication to her work is matched by her devotion to her family. As a mother and stepmother of five girls, she fosters a loving and dynamic home environment, enriched by the companionship of their three dogs: Roxie, Dallas, and the newest addition from her oldest daughter Elicia’s father, DJ Lamay.

Kaysha’s love for the outdoors and the natural beauty of Lāna’i is evident in her personal hobbies. She enjoys beach outings, camping, hunting, and shell collecting—a favorite activity that allows her to connect with her children and create cherished memories.

Her decision to work on Lāna’i is deeply rooted in her appreciation for the island’s close-knit community. The small-town feel, where everyone knows each other and is ready to assist, aligns with her values of unity and support. Being part of “one big family on a tiny island” is a sentiment that Kaysha holds dear.
