I have played basketball my whole life and earned multiple accolades in the county of Maui and state of Hawai’i, trophies and a full ride scholarship to a Division 1 college. I attended college at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, where I received Academic Honor Roll, plus accolades while playing on the Rainbow Wahine Basketball Team. I’m very passionate about health; how important each individual’s health is. Physically, mentally and emotionally, they are all equally important and should be treated as such. For people of all ages. Especially mental health. I volunteer as a coach for elementary and middle school girls’ basketball here on the island of Lana’i. I also volunteer as a referee for recreational basketball games. I have a 4-year-old daughter, a bunny, 2 dogs and I love spending time with family. My mother was born and raised here but my family and I moved to Maui shortly after I turned two. When I graduated high school, my mother moved back to Lāna’i along with my little sister so they could be with my father while he was working here. After college I moved to Lāna’i to be close to my family and started working.
