She has worked as the Vice President of Village Health and Workforce Development, as the Community Health Aide Program/Education Director, and as Program Manager, Nicotine Prevention and Control for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, Bethel, AK, as well as the Chronic care Active Management and Prevention Director and Senior Research Associate for the Norton Sound Health Corporation, Nome, AK.
