Courtney Batoon

Courtney joined the Lanai Community Health Center (LCHC) in December 2018 as a Front Desk Representative and has since transitioned to the role of Referral Specialist. Her dedication to the LCHC family is fueled by a genuine interest in the medical field and a desire to broaden her knowledge and expertise.

Born in Honolulu and raised on the tranquil island of Lāna’i, Courtney’s roots in her community are profound. A 2011 graduate of Lana’i High and Elementary School, she brings a wealth of customer service and hospitality experience to her role at LCHC, having worked at Trilogy Ocean Sports, the Manele General Store, Lana’i City Service, and Blue Ginger Café. These positions have refined her interpersonal skills, enabling her to connect effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Courtney’s cultural heritage is an essential aspect of her identity, and she honors it through her love for Hula and Tahitian dance. These cultural practices allow her to celebrate and share her heritage, providing a creative expression that resonates with her and those around her.
At the center of Courtney’s life is her family. She treasures every moment with her daughter Nevaeh and her son DJ, embracing the island’s simple joys, whether it’s a day at the beach or appreciating Lāna’i’s scenic splendor.

Courtney’s journey is a testament to her dedication to her community, her cultural heritage, and her commitment to continuous learning and service. Her role at LCHC is a reflection of her personal growth and her unwavering dedication to the health and well-being of the Lāna’i community.
