Lanai Health Specialist Recognized By Publication

Behavior Health Specialist Cori Takesue of the Lanai Community Health Center has been named to the Pacific Business News’ “2017 40 Under 40.”
“We are very honored to have Dr. Takesue as part of the Lanai Community Health Center ohana,” said Diana Shaw, LCHC executive director. “Her expertise provides immeasurable help to the local community and we are thrilled to see her hard work and diligence recognized.”
Takesue joined the center in February 2014 as a post-doc fellow in psychology. She received her Master of Arts in professional counseling at Argosy University-Honolulu campus, with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy, and her doctorate in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University-San Francisco campus.
Every year, Pacific Business News honors outstanding business professionals under 40 years old in Hawaii who
demonstrate business excellence, contribute to the overall success to his or her company or organization, stand out amongst peers and colleagues and have strong community involvement.
“This year we received over 200 nominations,” shared Emily Kleiner, events director at Pacific Business News. “It was very difficult for the judges to choose as competition was quite intense.”
A formal dinner celebrating all “2017 40 Under 40” honorees will be held June 9 at The Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina.
