Lana’i Covid Advisory

It’s been quite a while since we’ve had any announcements, but I’m incredibly pleased to make one now.  Please see the attached advisory for a community-wide vaccine event coming up later this month!

Lanai has been fortunate: your Lanai emergency preparedness group – medical sector has advocated persistently for vaccines through their various sources and it is expected that by next Monday, over 1000 Lanai residents will have received at least their first vaccine shot.  By the end of the month, Lanai providers could conceivably vaccinate all residents who are interested.  But we need your help in getting the word out AND – if you are a supporter of vaccinations – letting people know why you feel it’s beneficial.  If you’re not in support of vaccines, please be a dear and help out anyway by passing the word and giving people a chance to make up their own minds.

In case you didn’t know, all of our island’s medical providers, along with Pulama Lanai and the Lions Club, have been vital to the ongoing island vaccination initiative.  Please show them aloha in any way that you can.

As always, thanks for your help and for being part of this “Lanai COVID-19 Pineapple Wireless!”

INFORMATION PROVIDED VIA THESE LĀNA‘I COVID-19 ADVISORIES APPLY TO CURRENT LĀNA‘I RESIDENTS ONLY
