The Lāna'i Community Health Center’s mission is to take care of the community of Lāna`i by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health and selected specialty services) to the community; providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lāna`i by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener;
and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna`i.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Doctorate or Masters Degree in psychology/counseling or related field; Prefer two or more years of experience; Prefer experience with Adults and Chronic Disease Management in a health‐care setting.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current Hawaii licensure or license-eligible within 3‐6 months of hire. Eligible for credentialing with third‐party
insurance carriers.

Within the scope of licensing as an RN and APRN, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide general medical care, assessments, evaluation, treatment and some minor surgery for patients. Focus is Women’s Health, Family Practice, from cradle to grave. Must be comfortable treating pediatric patients. In collaboration with the Medical Director, contributes to the clinic’s daily operations and management of staff. LCHC is a patient care, teaching and research organization and also provides workshops, education sessions and outreach – all employees should expect to be involved with these activities the extent to which will depend upon their position in the organization. We are a federally qualified heath center, providing integrated care –medical, behavioral health, dental, vision, and telemedicine access to specialties. We are located on a remote, rural island (Lanai) in Hawaii.
