The Lāna'i Community Health Center’s mission is to take care of the community of Lāna`i by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health and selected specialty services) to the community; providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lāna`i by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener;
and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna`i.

Clinical Psychologist/Behavioral Health Specialist (Full-Time)


  • To provide a full range of Integrated Behavioral Health diagnosis and treatment services for the Lāna’i Community Health Center (LCHC), a federally qualified
    health center (FQHC) on the island of Lāna’i. This position is located in a remote, rural general practice setting, with approximately 3,000 residents from diverse backgrounds, and is eligible for the Hawaii State loan repayment program.
  • This position is a full‐me, exempt position, with full benefits.

    medical and behavioral health providers, supported by medical assistants, case management and outreach workers. Our holistic approach to health care provides a rich, rewarding environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Doctorate or Masters Degree in psychology/counseling or related field; Prefer two or more years of experience; Prefer experience with Adults and Chronic Disease Management in a health‐care setting.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current Hawaii licensure or license-eligible within 3‐6 months of hire. Eligible for credentialing with third‐party
insurance carriers.

Full-Time Housekeeper

JOB OVERVIEW: Under general supervision of the facilities housekeeper – Team Lead is responsible for housekeeping of all LCHC facilities and grounds, including rented or owned.


  1. Requires knowledge of and compliance with government regulations related to health facilities.
  2. Ensures that LCHC facilities are cleaned and safe to ensure high quality patient care environment, in accordance with health facility guidelines.
  3. Maintains the inventory for all housekeeping supplies and equipment and ensures that they are stocked and restocked in a timely manner.
  4. Anticipates and identifies facility needs and works with Supervisor to meet those needs.
  5. Requires valid drivers license and clean driving abstract.

Full Time Permanent Medical Assistant


  • Preferred Medical Assistant Certification, will consider Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and Community Health Worker Certification

  • Provide clinical support to Providers, and other LCHC staff as assigned by the Medical Director
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills, be compassionate, and a team player
  • Must project a professional image at all times in-person and on-phone inter-action
