Welcome to Lāna`i Community Health Center

The Lāna'i Community Health Center’s mission is to take care of the community of Lāna`i by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health and selected specialty services) to the community; providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lāna`i by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener;
and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna`i.

Saturday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sunday: CLOSED

Full Time Medical Assistant

Join our LCHC team; we are dedicated to providing patient-centered health care and are looking for someone who can demonstrate the highest level of customer service.

JOB OVERVIEW and DUTIES:

  • Medication Inventory
  • Filling LCHC Patient Prescriptions
  • Perform Medical Assistant duties such as checking inpatients, taking vitals, drawing blood, and injections.
  • Provide clinical support to providers and other staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred Medical Assistant Certification.
  • No on-the-job experience necessary-will train.
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate clearly and fairly.
  • Non-judgmental attitude Computer literate.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to implement HIPPA rules and regulations of patient confidentiality.
