Marco Perata – President

Marco Perata’s journey began between the picturesque settings of Lake Tahoe and Kauai, where he developed a love for skiing and surfing. These early experiences set the stage for a life deeply connected with nature and adventure.

Marco later moved to North Idaho and subsequently to Roatan, Honduras. It was in Roatan where he rediscovered his passion for scuba diving, a hobby he dabbled in during his teenage years in Kauai. His adventurous spirit also took him to new places around the globe, including Peru, Russia, and various Caribbean destinations.

Despite geographical distances, Marco maintains a close relationship with his two daughters, Lanita and Antonia. Their bond remains strong, illustrating the importance of family in his life.

An avid sports fan, Marco has both watched and participated in various sports throughout his life. He has an impressive streak of playing baseball and softball for 40 years. His love for sports is matched by his commitment to environmental health and reducing plastic pollution.

Marco is not only a survivor of stage 3b lung cancer but has also lived through numerous daring escapades from his youth. His resilience and zest for life shine through these experiences.

Marco’s professional career is as diverse as his hobbies. With a background in construction and land management right after high school, he has mastered multiple skills. His roles have included property caretaker, handyman, mechanic, builder, construction consultant, underwater photographer, dive center manager, resort co-manager, and inspirational coach.

From his first job at a restaurant at the age of 12, Marco has always been engaged in various activities. He thrives on staying busy and prefers to work and play outdoors, staying true to his nature-loving roots.
