Welcome to Lāna`i Community Health Center

The Lāna'i Community Health Center’s mission is to take care of the community of Lāna`i by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health and selected specialty services) to the community; providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lāna`i by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener;
and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna`i.

Chelsea Tadena, CCMA

Thanks to her many talents and positive attitude, Chelsea Tadena has worked in a number of positions in LCHC, since her hire in August 2011. Previously the Health Center’s research assistant and front desk representative, Chelsea is currently a Medical Assistant, ECW Super User, and IT Coordinator, providing support to fellow staff, providers and patients. A strong proponent of patient-centered care, Chelsea enjoys her work. She is a native of Maui, and has worked in the health care field since 2007. Since moving to Lāna‘i and working for the Health Center, she has successfully completed the LCHC Phlebotomy Training Program and the Certified Medical Biller Program. She enjoys snorkeling, picking shells, BBQ’s, movies, music, and learning the history and beauty of Lāna‘i.
