Welcome to Lāna`i Community Health Center

The Lāna'i Community Health Center's mission is to take care of the community of Lānai by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health, and selected specialty services) to the community, providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lānai by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener; and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna'i.

Jahmeelah Anito

Jahmeelah joined the Lana’i Community Health Center (LCHC) team in October 2020 as a Front Desk Representative and has since transitioned to the role of Patient Account Representative for Medical billing. Her warm demeanor and exceptional organizational skills are instrumental in providing patients with a seamless and caring experience as they navigate the complexities of medical billing.

A proud 2005 graduate of Lana’i High and Elementary School, Jahmeelah embarked on her post-secondary education at Maui Community College. Her pursuit of professional growth led her to California in 2008, where she continued to expand her knowledge and skills in the medical field.

In 2010, Jahmeelah celebrated the achievement of graduating with a degree in Medical Administration. Her commitment to advancing her career in healthcare continued as she earned a degree in Pharmacy Technology in 2011.

Family is the cornerstone of Jahmeelah’s world. She deeply values the time spent with her two children and her husband, fostering a nurturing home filled with love and shared culinary adventures. Jahmeelah’s expertise in cooking authentic Filipino dishes and her interest in Korean cuisine are ways she expresses her cultural heritage and culinary passion.

Jahmeelah’s journey is marked by a steadfast commitment to her family, her pursuit of education, and her dedication to serving her community. Her contributions to LCHC reflect her passion for healthcare and her devotion to the island’s unique way of life.
