Welcome to Lāna`i Community Health Center

The Lāna'i Community Health Center’s mission is to take care of the community of Lāna`i by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health and selected specialty services) to the community; providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lāna`i by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener;
and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna`i.

Kaysha Sarme

Kaysha studied at Maui Community College. She works hard to educate her family and/ or friends about oral health, and how it also plays a big roll in medical health. She has five girls; three daughters and two step daughters. They enjoy three dogs; Roxie, Dallas and recently they took in her oldest daughter Elicia’s dad’s ( DJ Lamay) dog. Kaysha’s hobbies are going to the beach, camping and hunting. But she loves to collect shells with her kids. Kaysha chose to work on Lāna’i because it’s a small community, everyone knows each other and we’re there to help someone if needed. We’re one big family on a tiny island. The one thing she loves about being here is that she can be close to her kids and family members.
