Welcome to Lāna`i Community Health Center

The Lāna'i Community Health Center's mission is to take care of the community of Lānai by directly providing health services (primary care, dental, behavioral health, and selected specialty services) to the community, providing activities and services through partnerships with local organizations as well as the many off-island organizations reaching out to Lānai by serving as coordinator, advocate, resource, initiator, and convener; and working collaboratively to provide space for partners who can provide needed services for Lāna'i.

Thessalonica (Thess) Sandi

Known as Thess, Thessalonica Sandi joined LCHC in January 2018 as a Community Health Worker. After graduating from high school in Lāna’i, Thess moved to Maui to attend King’s School of Ministry, where she also interned and helped with the youth ministry. Thess returned to Lāna’i and worked as a Program Specialist at the Lāna’i Youth Center for three and a half years before changing careers and joining LCHC. In her current role, she is pleased to continue serving youth and connect with children in the community. Also a part-time lifeguard at the Lāna‘i Community Pool, Thess loves to chase sunsets, swim, hike and attend LCHC’s Wellness Boxing classes.
